Box Tops for Education

PTA would like to remind you about the Box Tops for Education program that our school benefits from.  Here are some tips to help our volunteers count and sort more efficiently :

- make sure the box top is cut out carefully

-check the expiration date on the box top

-send them in bundles of 50

-send them in with students anytime during the year- we will have a big drive in   the spring

Also, don't forget to use AmazonSmile when you're doing your Christmas shopping!

PTA Grant Highlight

The PTA is going to highlight the clubs, trips, and projects we all help to fund!  Thank you to everyone for your help in supporting  our  students and teachers.   

Ms. Williams is the Garden Club sponsor.  Here's a summary of what the garden club was able to accomplish!

                                                  

The school gardens were very successful this year. With the help of PTA we were able to put fencing around the gardens that helped to keep the pocket gophers out of the beds. We also upgraded the grow lights which helped make our starts stocky rather then lanky. The garden club children appreciate the support that the PTA has shown them. They will be enjoying a dinner with their parents tonight that will include many of the vegetables the children grew that we froze to use for the dinner.
